The current level of Lake of the Woods is 322.75 m (1058.9 ft), a 20th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level fell by 3 cm (1 in) over the past week and is expected to decline by 1 to 2 cm (1 in) over the next week. Average daily inflow is estimated to be 150 m³/s over the next 7 days.

Lake of the Woods authorized outflow will gradually be reduced by 10 m³/s per day over the next three days. Flow reductions will begin on June 19th and will continue until the outflow reaches 170 m³/s on Monday June 21st. The level of the Winnipeg River immediately below the Norman Dam is expected to drop by a total of 5 cm (2 in) over this period. Locations downstream will see the level drop by 1 to 2 cm (1 in). The level at Minaki will not be affected by these flow changes.

The current level of Lac Seul is 355.27 m (1165.6 ft), a 10th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level rose by 7 cm (3 in) over the past week and is expected to rise by 2 to 4 cm (1 to 2 in) over the next week. Average daily inflow is estimated to be 170 m³/s over the next 7 days.
