The current level of Lac Seul is 355.03 m (1164.8 ft), a 15th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level declined by 9 cm (4 in) over the past week and is expected to fall by 7 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in) over the next week.

Lac Seul authorized outflow is 325 m³/s with no flow changes currently scheduled.

Lake of the Woods authorized outflow is 225 m³/s.  Outflow will be gradually increased to 265 m³/s between Sunday, January 30 and Thursday, February 3. The level of the Winnipeg River immediately below Norman Dam will gradually rise over this period by 7 cm (3 in). Moving downstream from Norman Dam, the river level rise will be smaller with no level change at Minaki expected as a result of the flow adjustments.

The current level of Lac Seul is 355.15 m (1165.2 ft), a 15th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level declined by 9 cm (4 in) over the past week and is expected to fall by 7 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in) over the next week.

Lac Seul authorized outflow is scheduled to be reduced from 350 m³/s to 325 m³/s on Wednesday, January 26.

The current level of Lake of the Woods is 322.57 m (1058.3ft), a 15th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level changed little over the past week and is expected to fall by 1 to 3 cm (1 in) over the next week. Lake of the Woods authorized outflow will increase from 100 to 125 m³/s on Friday November 26th, and to 175 m³/s on Monday November 29th.  The level of the Winnipeg River immediately below the Norman Dam is expected to rise by about 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 in) in response to the two increases.  The level at Minaki will not be affected by these flow changes.

The average lake level fell by 7 cm (3 in) over the past week and is expected to fall by 10 to 12 cm (4 to 5 in) over the next week. Lac Seul authorized outflow increased from 225 to 290 m³/s on Wednesday November 24th

Over the coming weeks, outflow from both lakes will increase to meet the anticipated winter hydropower demand.  Increases are expected to be gradual and should be complete before an ice cover is formed on the rivers.  Outflow increases will be announced on this Noticeboard.
