Lake of the Woods authorized outflow is gradually being reduced by 10 m\u00b3\/s per day. Flow reductions began on June 1st and will continue until the outflow reaches 200 m\u00b3\/s next week. The level of the Winnipeg River immediately below the Norman Dam is expected to drop by a total of 15 cm (6 in) over this period. Locations downstream will see the level drop by 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 in). The level at Minaki will not be affected by these flow changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The current level of Lac Seul is 355.13 m (1165.1 ft), a 15th percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level rose by 8 cm (3 in) over the past week and is expected to rise by 5 to 8 cm (2 to 3 in) over the next week.
