The average lake level&nbsp;changed little&nbsp;over the past week and is expected to&nbsp;fall&nbsp;by 1 to&nbsp;3&nbsp;cm (1 in) over the next week. Lake of the Woods authorized outflow&nbsp;will&nbsp;increase from&nbsp;100 to 125&nbsp;m\u00b3\/s on&nbsp;Friday&nbsp;November 26<sup>th<\/sup>, and to 175&nbsp;m\u00b3\/s&nbsp;on Monday November 29<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; The level of the Winnipeg River immediately below&nbsp;the Norman&nbsp;Dam is&nbsp;expected to rise by about&nbsp;10 to 15&nbsp;cm (4 to 6&nbsp;in) in response&nbsp;to the two increases.&nbsp; The level at Minaki will not be affected by these&nbsp;flow changes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current level of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/lwcb.ca\/pdf\/LacSeul.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lac Seul&nbsp;<\/a>is 355.86&nbsp;m (1167.5&nbsp;ft), a 15<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;percentile level for this time of year. The average lake level&nbsp;fell by 7 cm (3 in)&nbsp;over the past week and is expected to fall by 10&nbsp;to&nbsp;12 cm (4 to 5&nbsp;in) over the next week. Lac Seul authorized outflow increased&nbsp;from&nbsp;225&nbsp;to 290&nbsp;m\u00b3\/s on&nbsp;Wednesday&nbsp;November&nbsp;24<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the coming weeks, outflow from both lakes will increase to meet the anticipated winter hydropower demand.&nbsp; Increases are expected to be gradual and should be complete before an ice cover is formed on the rivers.&nbsp; Outflow increases will be announced on this Noticeboard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The current level of&nbsp;Lake of the Woods&nbsp;is 322.57 m (1058.3ft), a 15th&nbsp;percentile level for this time of year.
