2002.05.01  250 LW outflow to be reduced from 300 to 250 m³/s effective Thursday, May 4th.
2002.04.26  A-C given approval for May 1 request. Input was received from both Earl Jessop (Fisheries & Oceans) and Shawn Stevenson (OMNR), both indicating no real concern. OMNR asked that any reduction below 300 m³/s be done as early as possible following the A-C shutdown on May 1 to benefit the walleye.
2002.04.23  300 LW outflow ordered reduced to 300 m³/s. However, there was an error in making the unit settings adjustment (new operator) and the flow was not actually reduced until noon, April 24. (In addition, Keith Kirkham called to say they need 350 m³/s for 7 hours on May 1 to run paper machines without incurring May capacity charge. Taken under consideration.)

2002.04.10  350 LW outflow to be reduced from 400 to 350 m³/s on Thu Apr 11. It was done at 8am on the 11th.

2002.04.02    LS conditions reviewed; LWS still has concerns that outflow reduction at this time not warranted due to current lake level & inflow conditions, but concern not strong enough (conditions not changed) to reverse Board decision. Email & call to OPG (KP).
2002.03.21REG MTG LW outflow to remain at 400 m³/s (plant capacity) until at least the lake level is below 322.48 m (1058.0 ft) 250 LS outflow to be reduced to 250 m³/s effective April 1.

2002.03.04    310 LS outflow reduced by 50 m³/s to 310 m³/s.
2002.01.28REVIEW Maintain current outflow of about 530 m³/s.
- John Crawford was happy with status quo, but slight preference would be to have a flow reduction (from either lake) to conserve water due to low snowpack in basin and to reduce spill on the Winnipeg River in Manitoba.
Maintain current outflow of 375 m³/s.
- Karl Piirik was happy with status quo, but slight preference would be to have been for a small increase in LS outflow. An increase would reduce later flood risk on LS and provide water for remaining capacity at MF & CF.
2002.01.09  550 LW outflow increased from 500 to 550 m³/s effective Thur Jan 10. Note that the highest outflow achieved was 538 m³/s on Jan 11, with flows gradually declining thereafter.
